Clerk/RFO to Weaverham Parish Council.

We are seeking a dedicated, organized, and proactive individual to fill the role of Parish Clerk. As the key administrator for the Parish Council, the Clerk will ensure smooth operations by providing essential support to the council, managing its business affairs, and acting as a point of contact for the community.

Main responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Prepare agendas and take minutes from meetings
  • Main contact at the council
  • Oversee council finances

Key skills and person specification:

The ideal person should have excellent word processing, spreadsheet and data skills. Experience of SCRIBE bookkeeping (Parish Council software) is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
