Weaverham Parish Council is delighted to announce that the repairs to Footpath 6 (between High Street and Long Acre) have now been completed.  The attached photo shows the completed work and we are sure that residents will agree that the re-laid cobbles are a great improvement compared to the uneven cobbles from previously.  Many people in the parish may be unaware that this path exists as it is not very obvious to passers by but despite being a bit tucked away it is actually quite well used especially by people in the Long Acre/Valley Road/ Leigh Way part of the village.  The work was done at the request of some of those residents and the Parish Council, through the Acting Clerk, managed to reach an agreement with CWaC Council for the work to be done and that CWaC Council will reimburse the Parish Council for the cost of the work.

Three lucky children from Weaverham Primary Academy received a prize in assembly today from Adrian Morgan, Chair of Weaverham Parish Council, for their coronation artwork, which has now been sent to King Charles. @NWATrust #NWATWPACORONATION
