Residents and children from 3 local schools came together to celebrate the start of the festive period, by turning on the Christmas lights. Our local vicar Rev Paul Withington, gave a speech about the importance of Christmas, before Alan Mills from the Weaverham Trust) was given the honor of lighting up the tree. It was a wonderful event hosted by Weaverham Parish Council, with donations from Tesco Weaverham and Weaverham Hardware Ltd.
